About the Capstone Transition Center

Capstone Transition Center is the first step to reconciliation with family for these boys. 

Located in the rural area just outside Kisumu, the center is set up like a traditional Kenyan "shamba."

Here the boys will go through daily counseling and be enrolled in the local primary school.  During this time the boys will make short visits to their home to help them to adjust to the idea of going home permanently.  While at the Transition Center they will work in the garden, do homework from school and relearn what it is to be a Kenyan child again.  Each day begins and ends with prayer and devotion.
